...Not sure if MC realized it, or knew about it but let it happen due to his arrogance. I know it's fine to have flaws, but it's also due to MC's own arrogance that I want him to fail after putting so much trust in his strength to pull him through in all situations... Even till now I'm not sure if he really does see that he's really in the world living a real life or does he really just thinks this is all just a game, and that the people around him are just convenient NPC's, not real people along with events that occur are all just convenient factors for him to get exp out of?

For that matter if he is this locked in and sweaty over leveling, as it seems to be his sole major motivation to function, I'm now also VERY interested in seeing his original un-isekai'd persona... I wanna how down bad in the otaku life this guy was.

There's not a flaw here. That's not the type of story it is. The MC genuinely doesn't care about stuff like showing his cards early because it ultimately doesn't matter. How are you going to prepare for "Bro summoned gods and near instakilled". There might be some data in Silvia being unable to respond to the attack, but that's still literally attempted murder and by that point the Second & gang had already been nudged into a joint meal after the old man had caused a ruckus and interrupted their meal to begin with.

As for his personality, I mean he's a min-maxxer that was obsessed with a specific game and rankings for that game and he also had a main account and a side account he ****ed around with. You know at least five people exactly like him. If not you can find thousands on YouTube and Twitch.

The Master wanted to see Silvia's abilities, as she was his potential opponent in the tournament, not Second. He'd been using both disciples as bait to gauge the abilities of his potential opponents, so that when he faced them, he'd already have a counter. He's been doing this trick for a long time, which is why he's been the reigning champion, because he already knows all of his opponents' abilities in the final thanks to Jay & Dee (without them both realizing it).

Should've just slapped her and make that 1 HP into 0 HP, return attempted murder with actual murder. One less competitor was what she wanted by getting that cheap shot in? Well, one less competitor it shall be, just that it won't be Silvia dropping out, it'll be her instead. Actions have consequences.

That'd be illegal and more importantly for Second would likely interfere with their ability to compete in the matches (just dealing with it) and take away from training. An eye for an eye makes for a very blind guy. It doesn't benefit Second to do a murder.
