Even with these long fangs a bite to the lower abdomen shouldn't have led to near instant death.
Someone said in a previous chapter that she's super pampered and protected by the "hero" group, it might the first time she's had to face reality.did she get a growth-spurt, maybe gameplay/plot related, or was she this strong and kept her abilities hidden? pretty depressing nonetheless to have a fine young man die like this, when able fighters were nearby, but that's just how that world works.

This. Lower-right abdomen does not have any organ that cause instant death.
Lower left is worse, cause you have the liver. But even then, it just seemed like a bite. He was not cut off in two. Death ina minute or two, sure, instant death no.
If the author wanted the instant death shock, it should have been a bite to the throat.
Yes I know it's nitpicking, but come on, just tad of anatomical realism....

Cyanide is the fastest acting poison we know of and it takes 2-5 minutes to work. It is not instant. There is no such thing as an instant killing toxin. These are clearly some kind of chimera-ish monsters, them having poison in those fangs would not surprise anyone right? And yes poison can kill that fast.
You are doing the author's job for them. In the story itself there's nothing to suggest that. These are clearly some kind of chimera-ish monsters, them having poison in those fangs would not surprise anyone right? And yes poison can kill that fast.
While poison technically doesn't kill that fast out of the known poisons, there are plenty that have effects that will have effects as instant as this scene and some of these leave the victim in a state that might as well be counted dead... And that's in small doses.Cyanide is the fastest acting poison we know of and it takes 2-5 minutes to work. It is not instant. There is no such thing as an instant killing toxin.
Also I want to point out that no poison is ever mentioned nor implied. There's no point in assuming that it's a toxic creature when there's no evidence to it.
