I think the level is what you could expect for most high school level first degree black belts. More complex than the standard drills, but not international level or anything. For context, I can do them all and I'm not particularly athletic and am only a first degree as well.

Yeah it's pretty realistic, obviously the techniques land much more cleanly in the comic than in real life, but it's a good look at the sport.

This series is a huge part of the reason I can read Japanese. I just had to know what happened after the end of the anime. And yeah, huge shoutout to the translation team. This series looks like a real pain to redraw.
