Did the mangaka plan this from the start, or just decide to change the plot in the middle? Looking back at things the girls said before, their words work equally well for Yumi to be a standard bully, or this "friends" gone wrong backstory. Big surprise twist either way.

No that dude was just the mc’s fake friend who thanked him for taking his place as a bullying victim (so it actually happened im the past but wasnt bodyswap)

I am convinced the teachers don't exist in this manga, I get that there are alot of cases where teachers can be pretty useless sometimes when it comes to bullying. But like, unless I am blind, I swear I yet to see a single one since the manga lol
