i decided to go check on the webnovel since i noticed this was an adaptation:
we are around chapter 50 of 240, aka just over 20% of the way through the story. I haven't read any of i so i have no idea how things escalate or go from here, but there's still a bunch more to go through, which i guess would be cool if the pace keeps up/goes faster cause seeing a manga be so fast it might not even be able to get axed on time before adapting the whole story lol

I wonder ... just as there's a magic crest on the demon king, could there be one on the hero's body, dictating his actions and behaviors with just as much strength as the demon king's, despite his wishes for demons and humans to coexist?

What I also saw is that it was first adapted [as is basically always the case] into a LN, and that has only two volumes. Though I did not look to see how many chapters/pages that pares down to.
