He swears to get revenge but does fuck all meanwhile "revenge" happens in the background. Not to mention, the real villain in this story - the skill church or whatever they are called goes unpunished. If it were me I'd have MC blast the church. Time stop skill is OP - just stop the time and bloody murder everyone there and write on the wall with blood "THE CHURCH IS A SINNER... AND PUNISHED AS SUCH" and call it a day then watch the show. But nuh-uh - only one manga did it this way and I love that dark hero story a lot.

I read up to chapter 23 (The raw) to see if he actually does something for revenge, or if he forgives quickly. Some spoilers about everyone up to that chapter for those interested:
Sister: He almost immediately forgives his sister, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't even tell her what he went through (partly because of her). She becomes his slave and reveals she loves him, and it turns into a harem between the three (currently) girls. So all of the parts with the four party members look very similar to a regular harem manga
Hero, saint, policeman: The hero and the saint are punished by the king, and the policeman is punished by soldiers, all without him knowing.

Very agree with you. I also hate how this manga portrays the fate of the heroines. Yes, the heroines betrayed him, but they were also victims who were deceived

I'm going to have change my rating from "slop" to "vile". The mindset that it takes to create this sort of sick garbage is just disgusting.

He a looser. Gets awesome power. But cannot/will not settle accounts for himself. But the author wants to make sure that his opponents get punished anyway (while keeping MC "innocent"). And then there's the harem shit.

Basically this is a time/clock powered rebadge of "I Will Survive Off Healing Potions" with a "Shield Hero" motif minus the isekai twist. Got it.
