This gonna be an ass pull but WHAT if the author is trolling us with this kids and all being like a fake scenario he is under for some reason. Why I say that is because we went too suddenly abruptly time skip also like others said no tame beasts and most of his friends out of nowhere.
I feel like we gonna be like this is all a dream or something akin to the fake scenario cliche and then we will be back to that dungeon he was doing with the legendary beast before all this with the kids began. And then the kids are this some kind of op presence that just wanted to know what humans are like and felt like the MC is the perfect host with the "mother" (because if we go for how everyone had been aged up the mother was already the oldest looking before the "timeskip" so there is alot of plot holes that make me thing this whole adventure we are going on about is all fake

I kinda like this family adventure too
maybe I drawn to the kids character and even wife involve (totally forgot their name)
and I just not really interest w/ the chasing little sister arc

It was more organic in web novel, if my rose tinted glasses don't lie. Manga, even if no skipping, Greatly compress its plot.
