Why is she hiding her gender when women can be held in high regard for their swordsmanship? Something’s missing...

Those sword techniques weren't just givin to him He had to struggle to obtain them, by training with his mom.

@kilisloe Thing is, the manga's lacking in expression from the MC himself, combined with the (unannounced) time skips it just seems really effortless for the MC.

All these isekai jobless guys with incomprehensible power. Jobless around me only have the skill to leech off of others.

You don't master techniques as a kid in just that little time with no teachers. Even though he said he had it hammered by her mother, all his actual training was done alone; and if skills actually were as godly as everyone in this story makes them look like, a kid shouldn't be able to do what soldiers with advanced jobs in their twenties can't. If training could get you there that quickly, skills would only be a convenience, not determine anyone's life lol

@Dirchesdan : Partly because he's got his OP parents (his mom can 'accidentally' send him flying when trying to show her skills to him) he's not self-aware of how OP he is even if he's not Jobless.

It's hard to feel how strong you are when your mother can go 'ara~' and you're already on the ground, and she wasn't even serious.

To everyone else, MC already put the explanation best:
https://mangadex.org/chapter/619981/13

You CAN do skills through training and hard work, Jobs just give you those skills for free.
Like this kid demonstrate
https://mangadex.org/chapter/619981/15
So yeah, if a skill is like macro, MC is coding and refining his own from scratch, while people with Jobs just copy&paste from Google- I mean Goddess.

So he can do melee skill-like techniques but can he actually use magic ? I don't remember anyone using magic until now, but is said that his father is a Magic King so magic exist in this world, only mage jobs can actually use magic or magic is just something that is hard to use out of the skill sistem ?
I guess this can be explored better on the future here, hope It goes that route.

@Shakur
on the light novel this guy will conquer whatever one by one, starting with swordmanship first, go to swordman city, join guild, win contest, then meh let's go with next, then he return home, learn magic, go to magic city, join magic academy, win contest, and so on and so on. later we'll end up with everything happened in the world is because of him (somebody wants to make ultra-socialist-ultra-egalitarian country because they wants equality to everyone so that MC could live happily ever after sucking off basic income even from being jobless or something)...

Goddess clearly didn't want to give him power he didn't need. I mean why bless the blessed. Would even risk stunting his growth like it did everyone else.

Judy to be clear here:
You're applying real world logic to a manga where magic exists, goblins and orcs are real, martial arts techniques that defy physics exists, AND skills are assigned by gods prior to the birth of a child???????

From what i heard of Jobs in this is that they are
basically training wheels for a bike, MC doesn't need training wheels.

i see there is a Japanese LN for this is there a chance of this getting an english version
who did he learn sword dance from, his mother?
he was quite strong in that fight.

You were just arguing he was a hardworker and earned the strength he has. Don't just give up your argument and go that way because you have nothing smart to say. Be better than that lol

@Bramia

You are trying to use REAL WORLD physics and logic to apply to a manga where this kid has taught himself to be proficient in martial arts to the point where he would be considered a master against a girl who was taught by a master and also had a natural talent.

Your lack of intelligence while attempting to use a form of intelligence to explain a situation that can possibly apply to the given situation is astoundingly stupid!! Then you look to attack me because you want to fit a square peg into a trapezoid-shaped hole.

Let's review the rules of that manga's world: everyone that's born is born with a job that can't change. The MC has exceeded the capability of his "non"-job status. He was able to teach himself martial arts techniques without a master and exceed techniques that a student with a job and master had learned from her master.

You couldn't get any dumber if you tried.
