Oh, look. It's Paul
Because he can attack and heal? In old-school RPG, like D&D, the healer class was clerics, who were only behind the very fighters in straightforward melee, wielding blunt weapons, such as a mace. I don't even know where the helpless healer adventurer idea came from. Maybe it was some kind of necessary plot element for manga/anime, to allow the heroic MC to protect the cute healer. I mean, even in RL combat medics in the army still carry a gun, received normal training for it, and will use it to defend themselves, just like any soldier. So, a healer walking into a dangerous dungeon, totally incapable of defending themselves, seems like a death wish and thus unrealistic. Not that fantasy would need to be realistic.Wait, Paul is only a sub attacker? How come Rudeus can be both attacker and healer? I am not familiar with RPG
Now that the Anime is finished I'm quickly losing interest but at least the art is really good
Me, I don't enjoy anime anymore plus it takes too much time to watch.is there a single person who reads this manga without watching the anime?
I think I am more surprised that the main attacker who will get hurt the most is also the healer. I can understand if it’s a sub attacker plus healer. Although now that I think about it, Rudeus is on the back line so maybe he won’t get attacked a lot. I guess I am still on a mindset that attacker should be on the front line. It’s interesting that magic is the main attackerBecause he can attack and heal? I see many "just-watch-the-fucking-anime" people here. Let's keep the spoilers to a minimum for those who just want to enjoy the manga.
Within the vanguard you have Geese who the scout, Elinalise is the tank (which draws attacks to her and leads the attack so is the main attacker ) Paul is a sub attacker as he to follow Elinalise's lead in the combat (Paul and Elinalise can swap positions but they put Elinalise as lead her as she more level headed and it show it was the right move as Paul been depressed and also is showing off as his son is here)Wait, Paul is only a sub attacker? There's me. Animes are a waste of my time. I prefer to read at my own pace without fillers, kthx.is there a single person who reads this manga without watching the anime?
rather than "no filler" manga filler can just be sped through by reading faster or skimming text, so it's not that bad since the whole issue with filler is thwt it "wastes time", which manga makes very easy to fix, and less so in animeThere's me. Me. I have so many series I read and am catching up on I don't have time to watch animeis there a single person who reads this manga without watching the anime?
