By the second time she tried and he actually went through with it, they had been through a LOT of hardship together and both did a lot of maturing, and even then you can consider the following quagmire era a sort of narrative karmic punishment for doing it.

I compare that situation with Ceres, another 30+ y.o. reincarnated isekai MC, where he doesn't find his same-age girlfriends attractive and like them like his previous age: adult and MILFy.

Comparing Rudy and Ceres is kinda not fair imo. Ceres in his previous life is a normal functioning adult. Rudy previous life in the other hand, is not, he's a hikkikomori struggling with depression for years without any professional help. The only thing "adult" about Rudy is just his biological age if we're counting his previous life.

While im not too fond of harems in manga i do like that he actually has kids and starts a family instead of classic harem comedy that every manga is doing where everyone loves MC for nothing, nothing happens other than gags and it ends up going nowhere.

Scoundrels, on the other hand, can be liars, cheats, and womanizers... and yet, you can't help but appreciate them for their rough-edged charm and their paradoxical scruples.

Now, if Rudeus was going around raping women and blackmailing them into silence... Then yeah, I'd say he's a scumbag. But he's not. Hell, it's hard to even say he's misogynistic because, his proclivities aside, he's actually pretty respectful towards other women. In fact, he's not even whoring around.
