What policies are the issue exactly. Cant remember if it was 2+ but I think another group stopped uploading to MD because that were told their credits page had to be a separate page and not attached to the last page

A perfectly reasonable rule. And it only counts for single-page and wide-strip manga since it's absolutely awful to read it and often makes the quality of the page worse and the page size smaller in the reader. So many problems that can be avoided with this
For example, MangaDex staff doesn't enforce this rule for long strip manga since it's an entirely different reading format
Also my guess is that they just want that ad$$ money. There is literally no other reason to not upload to MangaDex.

I'm not saying you can tell EVERY author's... proclivities... by reading their work. But sometimes, every once in a while, you can kinda, maybe, sorta, see what they really like through their work. Again, not saying this is always the case!

My sarcasm detector must be out of order, but are you people seriously saying enshrining panties is not creepy if those panties belong to an older person? Like, it'd be one thing if he was just keeping them around stashed somewhere as momento, but this is something else.

I'm saying it's to be expected of his character in this setting. Also, it's intended to be comedy. Keeping a girl's panties is not something a normal person would do. And yet, Here's Rudy - seemingly cool guy, if a bit OP, and any time sex or panties comes up, he's all, "You have my complete and undivided attention!" And he's taken it even further by practically building a shinto-style temple in his basement devoted to Roxy and her panties.

I can't wait until Roxy discovers this, because the Rule of Funny dictates that she will, eventually. Her reaction is gonna be priceless, Rudy is gonna be made to suffer in some very special way for it, and I'm gonna be busting a gut through the whole thing!

Honestly, I have no idea as I am not privy to the goings on with their group. Nor do I wish to find out by going to them and asking because I don't want to be "That Guy". Someone around here probably knows, though, and hopefully they'll pipe up and inform us.

Usually it has to do with the scanslation group wanting to make money off of the people reading their translation of a title. Which is, quite frankly, outright illegal in many places all around the world. If you did not get the publishing license to distribute a title in your territory, then you have no business making money off of it. Thus, scanslation is pretty much a public service that people do because they want to share a manga with others they think is worth the effort to scanslate.

As for the credits page thing, I can see why MD would have that policy. It kinda messes with the readers a bit if you append your credits into the last page of a chapter. So they draw this line in the sand and enforce it, even if the last page is mostly blank space begging to get filled in with something.

The one I wish that would get enforced more often is the rule about two-page spreads not being split into separate pages - even if that's how they are in digital raws. If you're gonna go through the effort of cleaning, redrawing, and typesetting a title, then doing a quick stitch-up of two images that doesn't even take five minutes to do in MS Paint shouldn't be an imposition.

I love this story, but I'm constantly reminded of how his father sent him away from home at 7 years old (right after his sisters were born) in order to prevent him from being too close to his (now) wife. It pissed me off so bad when he finally meets his dad again and his dad wasn't even happy to see him (it was quite satisfying when he punched his dad in the face though). Almost all of his emotional problems in life stem from that strange decision to send his little child away to live in the city. Actually, the fact that his dad had that affair is also a big headache.

He was brilliant, thanks to being isekaied as an old dude, he fell in love but was overbearing and wouldn't grow stronger (he even mentioned this himself in both manga and anime) same with Sylphie.
It was supposed to be a job to pay for Sylphiette tuition, he was supposed to return and Paul felt he wouldn't fell for that brat. Whoopssie.

His dad having an affair while his wife being pregnant, Rudy acknowledge this mistake, scolding him and... well... things coming will really piss you off.

Norn is having a serious inferiority complex (towards Aisha) and a profound rejection against Rudeus (mostly, and also Silphy) for having “a different woman” which makes it ironic coming from Paul’s daughter, she should know that Aisha is her half sister FROM HIS FATHER’s side from what we have read before. Finding his already famous genious of a brother beating her father left a mark, and besides that she is failing at the academy (to Aisha’s and Rudeus’ standards), probably some bullying too, she will definitely isolate herself further, of courshe she doesnt want to rely on anyone around.

Oh but that last reaction she had when Rudeus caught her staring at him felt like her mother being cranky because of Paul not asking for forgiveness (reference to the earliest chapters).
