Good evening, Generalbros! I, the miraculous Tiddy, am here to begin the moderately anticipated 'Music Tournament 3.5: Anime Endings (Cut Versions)'!
And with a new tournament comes a new bracket! If you have a keen eye, you may just notice that the finals round lookslike it was dropped on its head as a baby a bit different than last time!

Vote on the current match-ups by posting in this thread. The easiest way to vote is just to copy-paste the most recently listed match-ups and [b]bold[/b] the songs you vote for.[ul]1. There are 64 entries in this tournament. All songs in the running are the cut versions of anime endings, i.e. the ending themes you see at the end of most anime episodes. Since visuals differentiate these endings, factoring each ending's visuals into your vote is encouraged.
2. Each voting phase will last approximately two days. After a voting phase ends, the next one begins immediately. Voting phases will begin and end between ~10 p.m. and ~1 a.m. Universal Coordinated Time (UTC). If you want to check where your time zone is, I brought this map with me, so take a look.
3. Any ties are broken by our residential Haikubro, @EOTFOFYL. He will vote in each round, but a vote of his will only be counted when a respective match-up results in a tie, thus breaking said tie.
4. Each round consists of a maximum of eight match-ups. The semifinals will consist of four match-ups, and the finals will consist of six (where each song faces all others once).
[ul]a. The finals will consist of the winning songs from each quadrant matching up against all other winners. Once the finals voting phase is over, the rankings are decided by the total votes of the match-ups. Haikubro's votes will count for these match-ups. In the event of a tie in total votes, the two tied songs will be ranked based on the winner of their respective finals match-up.[/ul]
5. Whenever a new voting phase starts, everyone on the 'ping list' will be @'ed in the post that begins the phase. This list is used to encourage participation in the tournament as well as make manually checking for a new voting phase unnecessary. Without notifications and/or actual songs of yours in the running, it can be easy to forget a tournament is going on, especially if you don't have some sort of reminder. By default, the only ones on this ping list are the actual contestants. If you're not already added to the elite notification squad and wish to be added, just let me know. Alternatively, if you're on the list and wish to be removed for whatever reason, just come to my house and tell me.
[ol]a. Additionally, the three staff members (@Lymus, @Plykiya, and @Zephyrus) will not be on the ping list by default, as they're staff, and staff actually does stuff, and staff is kowai. If any of you three do want to be on the list though, just let me lmk.[/ol]

Rules
[ul]1. Votes from users whose accounts are created during or after November 2020 will not be counted. This is because I don't like new people done to prevent any alt accounts from artificially increasing vote counts.
[ul]a. If a user does vote on an alt in the same voting phase as their main/other alt, their votes will be disqualified for that voting phase. Repeated offenses may result in death, or even disqualification from voting altogether.[/ul]
2. You are only allowed to vote for one song in each match-up (obviously I guess). However, you are still allowed to spread your votes out through multiple comments for a single voting phase, if desired. For example, if you only vote for 5 out of the 8 match-ups one day, and then vote for the remaining 3 the next day, your votes will be counted (given that the voting phase for those match-ups is still ongoing).
3. Voting for your own submission is allowed.
4. Discussion of the endings is heavily encouraged. Even saying things along the lines of "this ED is shit" is allowed. I'll probably be calling a few ED's shit here and there, so look out.
5. We're all just here to have a nice time rating some animoo endings. Just as in every other thread in General, not only is shitposting allowed, it's actively encouraged. Have fun. If you don't, I might have to get my slipper for real.

[ul]a. If a user does vote on an alt in the same voting phase as their main/other alt, their votes will be disqualified for that voting phase. Repeated offenses may result in death, or even disqualification from voting altogether.[/ul]
2. You are only allowed to vote for one song in each match-up (obviously I guess). However, you are still allowed to spread your votes out through multiple comments for a single voting phase, if desired. For example, if you only vote for 5 out of the 8 match-ups one day, and then vote for the remaining 3 the next day, your votes will be counted (given that the voting phase for those match-ups is still ongoing).
3. Voting for your own submission is allowed.
4. Discussion of the endings is heavily encouraged. Even saying things along the lines of "this ED is shit" is allowed. I'll probably be calling a few ED's shit here and there, so look out.
5. We're all just here to have a nice time rating some animoo endings. Just as in every other thread in General, not only is shitposting allowed, it's actively encouraged. Have fun. If you don't, I might have to get my slipper for real.
