Getting some kinda of pseudo Ottomon Empire n Lawrence of the Arabia arc?

Think with his modern knowledge, his brigade has been super-equipped to deal with dysentery and fatigue from long marches. Square formations n grapeshot would prolly be ideal to counter calvary

I don’t think they’ll all survive like last time. They went out of their way to give Kromberz an in-universe plot-armour, but to keep all the girls alive would remove any perceived stakes. Just like with Marginal Operation.

Being fair? Unnamed members of the regiment ended up dead from the last battle due to complications from their injuries. The question will come down to whether any NAMED characters will die this time.

Oh, did they? I didn’t notice. The fact that we’re getting introduced to a pair of new characters, instead of more organically building on the cast of the snipers and artillery operators, raises specific death flags.

Iirc, they did. I think after battle briefing has the number. It also led to some dropout from mental problems and, consequently, reform into messenger cavalry and bugle unit, since their numbers was reduced.

The pale hair girl is not new. She is sergeant from the start. The same position with Hannah. She was introduced as former guard of house Madeline and I think was showed in the fort battle.

Lela, on the other hand, looks like she was created to address the problem you said..... poor girl.

Thank you lots for the TL.

Just happened to fall on this manga and was extremely surprised to see it go way differently than I thought.

As soon as I read the long ass title, my mind went immediately to "isekai snoozefest incoming, with possibly a boring harem of warrior girls" but it wasn't that.

I've still got reservations about the whole isekai thing since it just seems like the story could've done away with it as I wasn't seeing a genuine reason for it to be there, but the introduction of rifled barrels and aerodynamic bullets are doing a lot of work to remove that thought. However, everything that used the "other world knowledge" else could have just been explained by him being a more gifted, smarter or hardworking than usual individual, not even genius, just good.

I've speedread it and honestly I'm digging it a lot, I'm liking the direction and can only hope it will go on for quite a while since it's been a hot minute since I read something so pleasurable. It's realistic, it's honest, and it's unique. More than that, it has cute girls in realistic circumstances in a setting where you realisticly wouldn't see many if any. What else could I ask for?

Also, as some people are saying, I genuinely hope Lela didn't raise a death flag, I'm liking her a lot (actually I'm weak to women so I like them all but that's beside the point)

No.

Sergeant Heiden reported, "This time we had two seriously injured. One lost an index finger, another lost an eye. There are plenty of minor injuries, scrapes, and bruises. More than a ten fell ill from the march and siege conditions, and a few were unable to fight due to severe menstrual pain."

Nowhere in the text was there a combat or incidental death in the 6th Brigade yet.
When they reformed, Kromberz said "There's still more problems. Some soldiers are beginning to hesitate before pulling the trigger. They say they don't want to kill or be killed. For now it's only a few, but if more start deserting we'll have a real problem." ... "We'll be cutting those who aren't suited for infantry, whether due to poor marksmanship, low stamina, or lack of fighting spirit." (in the context of reforming the new artillery, musician, and logistics detachment.)

This takes place in chapters 12 and 14.

Yes, you're right. Chapter 12 explicitly said everyone made it back alive. All more to having someone die soon.
