I dunno. There was a lot of talking or something this chapter.
But, there was also two adorable baby demons playing and taking naps together.
That's what I got from this chapter.
i love the effort you are putting into translating this manga, but reading the new girls words is a pain
please just use the text that can be read, not the bad Scottish
@Mangon there's a non scottish version on the outside of the panels, jic u didn't notice
personally, i find the scottish hilarious, but i can understand if u and the others don't like it
i'm sure the translator will too
@Bachenaugen She doesn't have anything to do with Scotland. The translator just chose the Scottish accent to represent the dialect she used in the Japanese raw like how the translator in Drifters decided to use a Southern accent to represent the main character's Kagoshima dialect . I don't have much knowledge about Japanese, but Eriza here might be using one of the Japanese local dialects that even native Japanese have troubles understanding them like Kansai or Kyushu.
I'm really hating this pseudo-Scottish bullshit. The fact that I know they're trying for Scottish and failing at it just makes it all the more jarring. Like they've got really strange ideas about how certain words would be pronounced.
I really hate it when accents are localised this way. The screwing with Veronica's speech was bad enough without this nonsense too.
The accent's too heavy. I struggle reading large quantities of it. That the translation requires a translation says a lot.
And I'm a secondary speaker, the kind that is more proficient than most native speakers.
