@xxsaznpride sry if I'm being a bother, but are you planning to just do this manga for a while then drop it? Since I read a comment where you said freedom was an important part of this hobby for you, I was wondering about it. Not trying to throw accusations or being insulting, but if you're planning to stop these in the short or mid term I'll just stick to waiting for Entropia's weekly releases. Because if you drop it, then waiting for Entropia to catch up after I binged your updates will be more of a pain than the quick binge would be worth imo. I really don't have anything against what you're doing, just wanted to know.

More like I'll run out of raws at the end of volume 5, so I wouldn't be able to continue if I wanted to. As of right now, ch.119.2 (the 2nd bonus chapter of volume 5) is where I'm stopping.

I don't know if Entropia is dropping the series or going to continue their weekly releases or just wait until I'm done and pick up from where I leave off; that'd be a question to ask them.

The freedom I mentioned refers to being free to work the way I want to work and has no bearing on whether or not I scanlate the chapters that are available to me.

Holy shit, people are bitching because of faster releases? Gods, just enjoy the manga and if the quality is bad, block the group. But from what I see, there's no difference of quality between either of the two groups. I didn't even notice the final page, since I thought it was the credits page and didn't bother reading it. And it's pretty obvious that the chart was made to be satirical rather then something serious.


Anyway, was it just revealed that Merii doesn't wear underwear on that last page? That's some important information right there.

@ultraleaf "Tank" as in "tankoubon" as in an entire volume of a given series. For example, MazoHaha is released online chapter by chapter. Those releases are compiled 20-odd chapters at a time in "tankoubon"単行本 or "tanks" as they're also referred. These are generally what you see in a given bookstore's manga section.

Common ass ol' boring boys like me with no job have no chanche to be able to afford manga subscriptions/ reoccurring purchases.
Good mangas like this are one of the few things keeping me from giving up, mantaining my peace of mind.

Practice self isolation by going on a jog or walking around alone for 30 minutes if it won't get you arrested. Otherwise, look up basic home workouts.
And regardless of whether you're meeting anyone or not, take a shower once a day.
Animu and mango are things you should enjoy to enhance your life, not escape it.

@xxsaznpride: Let me try to explain the last few days from our perspective, to try to explain why many of us are upset with you. You showed up and started posting your own versions of a series that was already being translated. That almost always causes trouble, so people get concerned when it happens. Your responses at that time were rude and confrontational, and pretty insulting to the other group that was working on the series. To be fair, one person was rude to you first, but you extended that beyond him.

After you chose to continue, Entropia, who was working on the series out of a genuine desire to bring it to people who love it, decided that if you wanted it so much and could get it out faster they'd let you have it, and dropped the series. Your response at that point was incredibly insulting towards them, insulting towards the readers, and showed that you didn't have any plans to keep doing this series in the long term the way they had.

So, from our perspective, you came in, insulted pretty much everyone unilaterally, harassed the other group into leaving, and then weren't willing to uphold the responsibility you forcibly took from them. That is what we are seeing. It may not be the way you view it, but it is how it comes across to us. That is why many of us are angry with you.

In regards to buying tankobons, if this series was for sale in a language I can understand, I would gladly buy it. But I do not have sufficient disposable income to buy a version that I can't understand, and which is thus useless to me. You choosing to insult people like me just because we still want to experience the story only makes us angrier.

I am genuinely not trying to be confrontational here. I'm trying to explain our perspective in the hope that we can understand each other, and maybe we can manage then to talk this stuff out without having to resort to throwing insults back and forth.
