We really didn't see how much it took him to get undressed and on the bed, i would not even be surprised if she had to help him, also it's not a guarantee that the same dose of drug work the same on a different person. Especially when he's also a man which is known that plenty of drugs don't always have the same effects depending on the gender. Not to mention that if he's doing this for a long time, he must know the right dose to use which can also be not very effective depending on the person is used on.
