I said this a few chapters back but if you reread chapter 1, the mom doesn't think Moe is her husband's. She brushes Moe's hair and says it's nothing like either parents'. "Where did you come from?" It's said like a joke but the mom probably genuinely doesn't know

calling that "laid out bare" seems like a bit of a stretch, unless we're meant to take that very roundabout language from Akemi at face value and assume that it's entirely truthful.

Given Akemi herself has a history lying and deceitful behavior, and Gotou himself has no recollection--and with the implication that his dream of sex with Moe might not have been a dream--I'd say it's still considered up in the air.

what are the chances that the wife actually trying to get the attention of some other guy ? like the real father of her kids, what are the possibilites that the reason she had those abortions was because the kids where not of this mysterious father, but where actually Gotou kids so she decided to not have then and where instead trying to get this other guy kids, even now the kid she is expecting could be of this other guy we are yet to see, that's why she is so sure, she could be like "yo dude that is not my husband, see aaalll those kids ?...all yours, now you can't ignore me so lets be a family" that would be beyond fucked up.

I honestly had thought it wasn't a dream until Moe recorded that deviant teacher. She told him she'd never had sex and she did seem pretty ignorant. She could have lied but I don't see why she would have bothered

there is still a lot to be revealed, I'm just brainstorming theories honestly, i like trying to guess what could be, like ain't no way this new baby is his, unless somehow by some miracle it actually is, also i just noticed something, my theory about moe being his biological daughter is at risk since this new brother just showed up, unless somehow Gotou also cheated at some point.

IMO it's because she thinks Gotou is a convenient "beard".

Consider the last 20 years of their family life, she successfully maintained a facade of being a normal wife with a cool job who also takes good care of her family. It's only kind of implied but I think her parents were/are big shots and she's doing this entire thing with Gotou so she doesn't bring shame to them publicly, while she still gets to fool around and do whatever she wanted behind closed doors.

You also notice that her plan mostly worked for those 20 years and shit only started hitting the fan for her the moment Moe began seriously keikaku-ing to fuck dad.
