I love the cover for Volume 5.

I'm conflicted. Kousuke is wrong for entertaining her advances, and I stand firm on that. He brought this on himself. He should have drawn the line firmly in the sand and kept it there. "I am your friend's father, nothing more". Could he have lent her his ear from time to time? Absolutely. I would find nothing wrong with that. But everything else, with things becoming physical at certain points...i can't condone that.

But damn, all he did at the hotel was listen to her and actually conducted himself in the way that I've wanted to see him be from the start: as an adult figure of support for her, something that she is in dire need of with how awful her parents are. He didn't force himself on her, nothing. He just listened and gave her some encouraging words.

Too bad. Now he will lose everything, because he could not control himself.

A situation brought about by the "brokenness" that hides in people.
Dude dang. I want them all to be happy but its just so difficult to fix what was made which is already missing some pieces.
This manga keeps me on the edge and stresses me out at times with the interesting situations and scenarios the characters are in.

Ok, I’m confused.

Didn’t his boss just say the letter looked vitriolic? Isn’t that kind of baseless accusation easily solved by saying “yeah, it’s some weirdo I ran into last week”? Why is he so distraught and ready to deliver a resignation letter? Did I miss something?

Thanks for the TL, btw.

He probably didn't deny it, because he knows he has engaged in an indecent relationship with a minor.

He may not have had sex with her, but he has kissed her, he fantasizes about being with her romantically. Who knows where this will go.

Her mom is too possessive, but he sure as hell is not innocent in this situation.

@PedroSimao002 It's just Japanese politeness and indirectness. Most of them wouldn't accuse someone directly, but instead dance around the issue. But even dancing around it signals that they're accusing him. Obviously his boss just cut straight to the point.

Guy needs to be a bit more shameless, he's going for that jk pussy so he needs the shamlessness that comes with it. Lol. Where's that thick face I expect from a big player?

Because he knows the accusation isn't entirely baseless, and in a society about appearances the actual nuances of their relationship is meaningless.

If the mother can prove that he has some form of relationship with her, ANY form, then that looks bad for the company. It's a very hard problem to get around.
