@Kami_Nana Maybe if you are the greatest liver lover the world has ever seen, it doesn't. But the chapter itself suggested it doesn't taste good, which is no miracle: It was just a mixture of liver and spinach, prepared half-assedly.

He wouldn't be losing blood to begin with without her, so just making sure he can produce more blood is no real compensation, unless you are a communist. If she was his bona fide girlfriend, then it would make perfect sense he would feed her just for the love's sake. But they aren't going out.
