Are we sure this thing isn't an alternate universe offspring of a certain priestess and a stinky shark?
And inbefore you say "then why isn't she flat", need I remind you of basic math: - * - = +
Fuck, the art style is basically exactly what I pursued a few years ago.
On one hand, very simplistic; mostly pencil strokes, and the shading is cross-hatching.
On the other hand, major emphasis on anatomy, that blends really well with the cartoonish faces.
I.E: An art style that is quite hard to learn, but once you're there, you can churn out pages relatively effortlessly, with minimal resources.
Ya'll looked at her face on the last panel, I audibly went "shit.." at the neck & jacket rendering. c:
P.S: To anyone who wants to get into anime-sketching, just saying: the simplistic nature of the minimalistic style is deceptively difficult. It is frankly easier to draw realistic-looking portraits, than to draw anime, because you must be absolutely 100% on every line you draw. With realism, you have more room for errors because there's simply more to draw. Don't get too frustrated if what seems like "a simple anime figure", turns out to be oddly difficult to draw~
Cute mouth feeding aside, I still suspect that hyper accelerating the flow of causality to specifically break down the organic vessel of an Eldritch Being will see still attract the attention of Eldritch eyes
Sure, decomposition is natural, but it happening in seconds is not. Not to mention the specific chemical processes she used to make the result as safe as possible to dispose
(Nice of her to take her human bf into consideration, considering he's the one who has to throw it away)
Lmao, did she almost manage to kill another "vessel" by simply not eating
And here I was, thinking she (it?) would be more careful now, after the previous "death" already got the peculiar human depressed
