The frame where she looks beyond exhausted like she's seen some things is such a mood. I love it.
NTR: Neglect That RedflagLocal bully no longer so tough after being NTRed.
Treating speed bumps like earthquakes. What is with these freakouts in threads about yuri whenever the characters' relationships face challenges in the story? You're acting like it's already doomed.
Don’t know why people are bonking you for this but I will say Meihe isn’t completely clueless. She gives a bit of an explanation in the next chapter when she talks to the brother.Edit: I guess people nowadays really like neglect play
Lin Wenjing gets jealous -> Lu Meihe is completely clueless what it's about and goes "well, whatever"
This has been just this for 2 chapters, and I'm not a fan of that
Finally I can feel like a sane person for having an opinionDon’t know why people are bonking you for this but I will say Meihe isn’t completely clueless. She gives a bit of an explanation in the next chapter when she talks to the brother.
i feel like the whole arc of Lins past with her being revealed should’ve been enough to let things work out on it’s own. feels like the author is trying to turn the tables in a way, but it doesn’t feel natural at all. it feels out of character for both sides, especially with the development we just had. it almost feels like it never happened in the first placeI’m fine with it in this case since Lin needs a serious attitude adjustment and it’s clear the director doesn’t see the new girl that way at all
I can actually understand Lu subconsciously putting distance between them, she still hasn’t gotten a reply from Lin, and she wants to make an effort to be a friendlier boss at work, so it makes sense she’d pour effort into helping the newbie when Lin has only made it clear that she just wants to toy with Lu. She loves her but bettering herself is more important to her at the moment than playing Lin’s games.i feel like the whole arc of Lins past with her being revealed should’ve been enough to let things work out on it’s own. feels like the author is trying to turn the tables in a way, but it doesn’t feel natural at all. it feels out of character for both sides, especially with the development we just had. it almost feels like it never happened in the first place
it’s not that theres drama, it’s that the drama that feels unnatural. it feels out of character for both sides and feels like it completely ignores the progress made in the previous arcWhat is with these freakouts in threads about yuri whenever the characters' relationships face challenges in the story? idk i dont see why Lu would suddenly ignore Lin entirely, not even a chance to talk to her. like if i was Lu i’d want to at least try to talk it out further to see how Lin feels after the last conversation they had, but instead she practically ignores Lin entirely. not even mentioning how i think Lins reaction feels forced too. this all feels like a forced obstacle to hinder development when it already felt like we were at a point when they were both willing to communicate and let the already existing drama work itself out on its ownI can actually understand Lu subconsciously putting distance between them, she still hasn’t gotten a reply from Lin, and she wants to make an effort to be a friendlier boss at work, so it makes sense she’d pour effort into helping the newbie when Lin has only made it clear that she just wants to toy with Lu. Yeah but this forces Lin to confront her behavior first hand (and frankly it’s funnier watching Lin implode in jealousy and self-realization.) it’s maybe a little forced but aims for that comedy-drama sweet spot for a better narrative payoffidk i dont see why Lu would suddenly ignore Lin entirely, not even a chance to talk to her. like if i was Lu i’d want to at least try to talk it out further to see how Lin feels after the last conversation they had, but instead she practically ignores Lin entirely. not even mentioning how i think Lins reaction feels forced too. this all feels like a forced obstacle to hinder development when it already felt like we were at a point when they were both willing to communicate and let the already existing drama work itself out on its own
yeah that’s true i just wish it felt a little more natural lol. maybe it would’ve if we didnt end up having the arc of Lin’s past and we just went right to here. cos at this point that whole thing just feels like it was filler to me now lolYeah but this forces Lin to confront her behavior first hand (and frankly it’s funnier watching Lin implode in jealousy and self-realization.) it’s maybe a little forced but aims for that comedy-drama sweet spot for a better narrative payoff
Progress isn't linear, and it has already been established that Lu is still resentful of Lin for treating her like a toy. It makes perfect sense.it’s not that theres drama, it’s that the drama that feels unnatural. it feels out of character for both sides and feels like it completely ignores the progress made in the previous arc
This is also a lot of debate over something so little. It's just a couple chapters and she's training someone new. It's alright. I have to imagine people are seeming more upset than they really are.Progress isn't linear, and it has already been established that Lu is still resentful of Lin for treating her like a toy. It’s actually an occupational requirement you see, they recruit only the best and brightest lesbians to channel their romantic ineptitude into hit commercial gamesThey really went and made literally every character gay idk about you, but for me personally the most gay ppl I've had at work have been two, and that being in a pretty large company
