TBH I don't think that Dan-i is denying the possibilities only becaus of Inso, author showed us (especially with help of Ru-da) that Dan-i has really low self-esteem. If you think that you're more stupid, ugly and not so charming (comparing with her friends) you won't believe that someone'll choose you instead of that pretty girl nearby.

i feel like the people calling Dan-I dense are being too harsh on her...

while she does opened up her heart to Yeoreong+4HK, a part of Dan-I still believe that this whole thing is just some kind of a "story". she's refusing (consciously or not) to see her friends+Ru-Da as their own person rather than just a "character" in a story. does everyone forget the accident where she got isekai'd back into her "real world"? after such an experience, of course Dan-I will get more reserved to her surroundings. she put herself as an "outsider" in the whole narrative and keep everyone else on arms-length.

and while it does get frustating for us readers, i don't think Dan-I's action is completely off-base. at least give her a little bit more credits, y'all.

It's not that she is dense she just refuses to be with anybody that seem like the main character. In her mind she is just the side character and believes that her role in that world is literally nothing compared to the 4hk and ban. She truly believes that any romances with them is just impossible. Like when Jiho confessed to Donnie she did believe that he had feelings for her, but was scared because she thought that having a relationship with him could cause a catastrophic event where she could badly be injured in order to create character development for the 'main characters'

technically he didn't do anything this chapter but for a while i've really hated how pushy lee ruda is. i guess he's a nice contrast to the friends that just wanna support her and not freak her out bc of her Issues™ but. ugh. feels like he's just taking advantage of her problems to shove her away from all her friends so he can have her all to himself, while setting himself up as the "nice" "safe" 'girl' friend.
