I'd like to be an ass and ruin the joke. Caffeine is an insecticide by evolutionary design and spiders get all fucked up by it, if dosed low enough to not kill them. But alcohol is is a poison that fits that bill for humans, so that's how the joke was born. There isn't really any relation between those beyond a poisonous thing impairing behavior, as far as I know.

...But it's still funny that she has the full blörö -experience from just the beans.
Yeah it's kinda weird people have jumped on the alcohol/aphrodisiac thing so hard lol

He doesn't want to deal with all that, lol. A drunk wife far off more difficult to deal with, especially if she's a Spider humanoid.
One that's so heavy that he can't budge her with a full-body lift, and who probably has super-human strength.

... what kind of mother tries to drug her own daughter so she would make some damn grandkids? :worry:
With the Japanese birth rate of 1.2 per woman and falling the answer may soon be "any mother that wants grandkids".

Japan’s birth rate hit new low in 2023

Japan’s birth rate — the number of children a woman is expected to have in her lifetime — hit a new record low of 1.20 in 2023, health ministry data showed Wednesday.

The latest figure is 0.06 point down from the previous year in 2022 and the lowest since the government started keeping records in 1947, underlining the rapid pace at which its society is graying.

The birth rate, or total fertility rate, has been in decline for decades. The figure stood at 1.76 in 1985, then fell to 1.45 in 2015 and 1.33 in 2020 as more women choose to marry and start a family later in life.

The average age a woman gives birth to her first child was 31.0 in 2023; in 1975, the average age was 25.7.

All 47 prefectures in Japan saw a decline in birth rates, showing the trend is nationwide.
