Taya's mother was killed by humans (as far as we know), yet she was willing to bend over backwards (and forwards) to protect and support Haru. Skeleton dad lives on his hate towards humans, yet he's happily married to one, so happy that it might kill him. Time changes, people changes.
Just because Yuki couldn't overcome her own personal vendetta against human is entirely a "you problem".
What if it is now encouraged to have a hotdog tattooed on one's face. Just because you have a shitty tattoo artist doesn't mean i can't get a good one.
