A whole ton of stuff that is done. Everything from clothining to certain actions and motions that must be done in a particular order with particular people.

Like in some parts of India... a traditional marriage includes a freaking elephant ride. In other parts, they tossed the animal since they have gone rogue for vehicles but still keep the other less dangerous traditions.

Modern marriages takes far less time. Both can be equally as expensive or dirt cheap.

Eugh. I'm not married, but I'd be pretty pissed if either my or my spouse's parents wanted to dictate how our wedding should be. If they want to have that kind of authority they better be paying for literally everything.

Especially after we already decided to have a specific type of wedding. We're the ones getting married here, not them.
