I dislike how half-hearted the author is. He clearly wanted to write a serious plot at some point with epic battles and cool characters and such, but he seems to be too embarrassed to follow through with it and we get this self-aware jokey "this is a rom-com isn't it silly to take this stuff so serious ?" stuff. Which isn't particularly funny nor does it make for an actually interesting story. I don't think this manga needed the melodrama but if you're gonna do it, follow through damn it!!

Are we supposed to know what happened to the Mother Rabbit?

Like were they impacted by time being rewound or not?

If they were did he head back up there to fuck her up?

Is Rabbit woman dead?

Maybe it'll be explained but I'm a tad confused & concerned that the last panel of a massive battle is basically just implying they fought and we won't actually get any more information about what the fuck happened.

Although maybe I'm being unfair.

The whole point of freeing Jade Prime was to get her to kick the shit out of Amaterasu. Since Taya got the standard issue "I'm dying so my dead parents will appear to power me up" protag event, she rewrote reality to get rid of Amaterasu, which means Jade's deal was no longer valid.

The final panel in the chapter is basically the Kenpachi vs Unohana death match from Bleach: TYBW, where only one of them would be allowed to leave the sealed room "alive". Bone Daddy won, so Jade Prime is imprisoned in the moon again, and her "kids" are running around on Earth like before.

I think it's simply because of the work effort required to make those longer chapters. I still expect a few longer chapters to conclude this arc at a later point though...
