It's unfortunate that MD staff protect people like you because they refuse to deem low quality scanlation, including ones with malicious intent, as unworthy of being hosted on this site.
You'd think a little quality control would go a long way, but I guess getting people to give you money is significantly more important than actual overall quality of works on the site.

Quality control have multiple problems
Who will do it?
How many people will do it?
Will they make a groups decision or each person can decide agree they want?
How will they decide it?
Will they just read the chapter as it is to decide?
Do they need to look for the raw?
Do they demand the raws from the translator?
But most important at all, how to choose someone?
Will they be fair?

Unfortunately there's various hurdles to overcome until they can properly set a mechanism to judge and deal with trolls, low quality releases and shitty mtl.

I do still think they  should do it though, sooner or later they gotta address this issue since it's only becoming worse over time, biggest problem would be the struggle in the beginning, but I do think in the long run it would work to gatekeep the trash.

Seriously, this and arguably sniping are the two biggest issues that only ever cause drama here, I know it's not a simple issue and would create more work managing the site, but with the way it's getting worse it's just not sustainable and soon mangadex will be filled with garbage.

Is this based off of a novel? I mean does the credits page at the beginning of the chapter refer to an author or something? I couldn't find a novel version either so figured it was an original.
