Clearly they are winning if the humans felt the need to call retired magical girls to deal with them.

What are they like?

Are they literally cliche demons?

Or corrupted humans with negative energy like most magical girl manga?

Or are they tentacle monsters from Taimanin?

I think I get it. While he idolized Miku as a magical girl, he had no claim on her, so it didn't bother him that she has other fans. Now she is his wife and the thought of other men obsessivly following her bothers him. And it bothers him because it bothers him. He realizes Miku is more than just an idol to him now. Dude has issues.

@IronMace1990 I think Miku should be saying "Fans" not Fan. And I think she should also be saying "There's no one that falls into that category".

Anyway, I do find it interesting how the lack of magical girls is affecting their relationship. Rui is scared that since Miku will go back into becoming a magical girl, people will start to become fans of her, and he feels he alone should deserve to like him.

But Miku really is cute, even in her 30s. She'll be cute in Rui's eyes forever, even if not in other people's eyes.

Maybe it's not that dangerous actually, demons could be weak, or MG could be just fully healed\resurrected or have impenetrable magic shields, so their demons fights are more akin to getting rid of pests rather than real war. It happens in comedy\SOL magical girls series where fights are irrelevant to plot.

This chapter kind of clears up some misconceptions and shows that they compliment eachother well as a couple and not just the dude simping for the magical girl so that's nice.
