Honestly she's kind of obnoxiously tsundere, like goddamn learn to communicate. I mean I grasp that she doesn't understand / can't accept her own feelings and therefore can't communicate them (and that it's ostensibly because of her upbringing), but it's still a failing and her verbal rejections/insults/threats get all the more obnoxious when she's also fantasizing about him trying to force himself on her, as if her wants not being met is his fault for not being a rapist.

MC's face during the "You're allowed to touch me but I'm not allowed to touch you? The people in rule may do whatever they want but the commoners have no degree of freedom?" line is endearing tho and an interesting way of expressing his Modern views from two different uh parallel angles (so to speak)

Her line is very clear, she just doesn't want to do any premarital S3x (having kids is basically her knowledge of what's not to do, and now she knows the actual mistake is the step before that).
She was taught to be proper by her Second Miss, and this mindset isn't that unpopular even in todays' age, especially in Asian country.

neither of them is so much of a pushover that they can't express themselves when they really need to, they have done so in the past and in this very chapter! (both of them admitting to sneaky things they've done, her admitting to going into his room and him admitting that he planned things out so he could move into the bedroom with her). they do know how to communicate, and him explaining his sense of unfairness got through to her

both of them desire physical intimacy, it doesn't seem like she's unaware of her feelings really, she's just very worried about having sex and getting pregnant which is understandable, keep in mind the likelihood of surviving pregnancy in the past was not high. it hasn't been that long since she thought merely sleeping in the same bed together = having a baby, second miss deliberately raised her to be ignorant of such things likely due to overprotectiveness which has now bit them in the ass somewhat. she very much has that "all men are wolves" mentality in that it feels as though she doesn't think he can maintain rationality and not try something if she were more lenient ie. hugging and kissing in bed which is what he wants. she also doesn't seem to know about protection yet? mc was given a condom by his father but hasn't talked about it and all of her sexual knowledge is from presumably porn/adult films on the computer, she hasn't had sex ed classes or anything and modern times are completely different to the past in that regard
