I think it's more like she realize that the golem is over, but I still believe it's not just her work that make it happen n more like stack of stack effect that stuck on that golem + Cry is the trigger...

It's the slime that Sitri made. It's supposed to not attack Cry at all cost. It probably self-destructed 'cause it recognized Cry and it was attacking him.
