That was a little disturbing and sad.

She didn't try to control him like she usually does instead she likely figured out he was angry and tried to comfort him.

The author can play her as a scavenger, another person already went for the kill and she just ate the remains

Well the build up was pretty good. This manga gonna turn to either shit or gold based on the reveal. Let's hope it lives up to the expectation...

I mean, did you see her do the actual deed? The evidence is only that she left your room at a time before he died. Even if it is highly likely, it's not the kind of thing I would call an actual reason to hurt the poor spooder. I'm not saying he isn't super emotionally unstable and that the circumstances line up nearly perfectly though.

Let me guess, she's just trying to protect him from the real killer all this time.

From her actions it seems like she actually does feel something for the MC. I am curious to know why she chose him and what should would say she could communicate. I feel like the actual killer is or is connected to the guy who painted the weird foretelling of that one death a few chapters ago. But the MC can’t learn this because he can’t leave and to be fair she is a literal monster holding him hostage and forcing him to cheat on the girlfriend he loves, so the anger is understandable. Lack of communication is the key cause of divorce (or so says the internet).... maybe if she started cooking for him and cleaned the house? Or they could play charades
