I'd have less of a problem with the President if she hadn't gone through and trashed/thrown out all of the stuff his club had collected in their clubroom.
Yeah, he hadn't been keeping up his duties with the club as required by the school, but she didn't have to be a bitch from the outset like that. That, and manipulating him into a contest with her because of her own selfish opinions while justifying it as "I'm making you better" isn't her place.
She's somehow has worse-presenting archetype characteristics than Asahi, in terms of what she is ostensibly meant to portray--pushy and harassment-coded, doesn't listen to the ML but is obviously interested in him romantically, and instead of just being straightforward about it has to manipulate and ridicule him into whatever situation she wants, using threats and ultimatums as needed. Even as she's supposed to be the prim/proper school queen, instead she's more like the annoying-ass childhood friend than the annoying-ass childhood friend.
At least in Asahi's case she's as easily flustered as the ML is, and "takes as good as she gives".
I can't believe I'm rooting for her because normally I'd despise Asahi as a character trope in any other title, but the President is so much worse in these metrics that I'm left hoping the FL takes the win at the end.
