With the way dude has been acting since literally the day after their balcony talk I think president really dodged a bullet. If she wants to make herself into a strong independent person who can take over the family business and all the baggage that comes with it, having an obsessive jealous dude who wants to keep you all to himself and crashes out if you're in the vicinity of other guys without him is gonna make it an absolute nightmare to run a company or have any kind of professional relationship with anyone in the business world who happens to be a guy. And that's not even taking into account her personal life if she even thinks about being friends with another man.
Regardless of how much he's changed from how he used to be earlier in the story or how much of it is because of the author being forced to panic speedrun the plot, even if he was less shit before, the him right now is literally the worst possible person for her and her personal growth so this is a huge win for her.

I don't think the author ever figured out how to write the protagonist. His personality swings widly based on whatever is required by the plot, which ended up making him come off as bipolar at best and completely derranged at worst.

It doesn't help that this romantic development has been very rushed.

I don't think the author ever figured out how to write in general. He learned how to draw and is just spitting out words that seem familiar from other works he's read

I mean to be frank I've been pretty whatever on maezono this whole time. Much preferred asahi. maezono arc felt forced. But man, the author really did not handle the axe coming down well.
