Actually per guidelines per several law enforcement agencies grooming can apply to “children, young adults, or vulnerable adults” and is more concerned about the the power dynamic than specifically age

Whenever I hear about cases of Grooming it is from an adult to a minor, But I guess it makes sense.

That’s mostly because it’s the most common form, so I can’t really blame you. I had to google and do a little reading to double check.

I doubt he was actually framed. It was probably his biased way of looking at it. He was trying to get too close to a student, but then the student "betrayed" him by refusing to become his victim and made it public. He's not the type to acknowledge his own faults, let alone crimes. Even when grooming Konno here, he absolutely believed he was helping her, giving her a loving family (himself) and make sure she's has got the finances to educate herself (as his young wife or mistress). Now he's again the victim, in his own mind, when Konno refused his "help".
