The whole point of Nanjou's character is that she used to sleep around with reckless abandon and never knew what genuine intimacy was like.

Deleting the first chapter kind of defeats the purpose of the series.

I don't think anyone who is still reading this have forgotten the earlier chapters.

Having said that, Nanjou and Kiyomi's character development have been pretty good. So has their relationship development. Nanjou may not be a "pure" girl (and really no one needs to be "pure" to be in a loving relationship), but she realizes that she loves Kiyomi for who he is and wants to share EVERYTHING she can with him. We saw her imagining their future married life together with kids and she said "when" instead of "if". She is locked in to be with Kiyomi for the long haul. He also was the one who opened her eyes to the fact she could be loved as the person she is instead of who others want her to be, so it makes sense she would feel that way.

While she doesn't have to be "pure" or anything, I just find it hard for me to by the "cutsey girl in love" from a chick who'd let any random bozo hit in the middle of a school classroom.
