It was clearly shown that he is "aware" of her body and has some desire too, just being hesitant for one reason or the other.

And her "let's do it" is a running shtick since the start of the series.
Only difference is that in the beginning mc was shrugging it off as a joke, but now actually thinks about this as a possibility.

Realistically sex for these 2 could happen in a variety of ways. Most people wait for the mood to be all romantical to get into it, some use sex as comfort for their partner as that's when you're most vulnerable.

Honestly, at this point, I don't think they are rushing it too much. This is a natural extension of their relationship. They already trust and very much like each other....maybe her more so than him, but he still cares very deeply for her. At the beginning he was hesitant, but as time has gone on he has come into his own and this relationship.

The whole thing with the ex was definitely weird, and he freezing up when he touched her and his inability to do anything was definitely not a good thing. I do think his response to run, while not the best, was also not bad. He took her away from a situation she felt uncomfortable in (which is probably why she froze up), sometimes you can't ask for more than that. Him pulling her away like that and being possessive (and protective) of her is one part of why she loves him deeply. She recognizes her relationships prior to this were not real relationships and just flings for the guys she was sleeping with. They valued nothing and really if it was any of them they probably would have just let her go, but not MC.

Nanjou is locked in on Kiyomi and wants to be with him for the remainder of their lives. If things continue this way they will just fall deeper in love as time goes on...so I should probably stock up on Insulin.

I love that our MC admits to Nanjou that he hated note responding. I loved the self doubts when he was being ridiculed by the ex-boyfriend. The comments by Nanjou are perfect for communicating her feelings about then and now. The trust they've built is great. Still wished our MC had stood up for his girl.

Chapter could have existed without the ex showing up at all, and could have ended in the same place but with a positive vibe.
Oh well. Maybe this encounter (edit; encounter with the ex - not the seggs) will end up being necessary and will play into MC growing a bit more (edit; the seggs will definitely make MC grow a bit more ).

Drama sells better.

Also them doing the deed would be preferable of another iteration of "nooo,we cannoto toucherou oul ugry parterus"
