No it didn't have to go? I have long hair and it has never been a problem socializing or anything like that. The hair was not really his problem, the problem is more towards the attitude side of things.

He gave his consent to let her mold him into the guy she wanted. And this is a Japanese manga, this is the opposite trope of the girl who takes off her glasses and suddenly turning into the prettiest girl in the entire town a.k.a. Guy who grooms his overgrown hair.

I also have long hair and the problem wasn't necessarily it being long it was just that it was in his face covering his eyes which is what she fixed. He also could have tied it back like I do but either works. She's just trying to prevent him from looking emo lmao

Usually in these kinds of romance manga, yes she does actually like him(and vice versa), and there have been little hints so far. It's just that with the whole plot of being a fake couple, they're so caught up in that they don't actually realize their own feelings(and they most likely won't until towards the end)

The length he had was kind of awkward to tie up. But yeah, the style was overgrown rather than long and neat (or deliberately wild).

Also have long hair. And I cut my own hair, because it's nothing fancy.
