I'm in love with gantz, and kami sama no iuttoru, btooom was great too.

I really just like gore, like high school royale or starving anonymous.

Honestly tho I just want a manga meant for adults, so please give me your most amazing fave manga

How do you like titles like Ichi the killer https://mangadex.org/title/14988/koroshiya-1 and MPD Psycho? https://mangadex.org/title/12178/mpd-psycho

Maybe Deadman Wonderland? https://mangadex.org/title/84/deadman-wonderland

Back in the day there was this awesome scanlationteam called omanga that highlighted some really amazing titles - here's a screenshot that includes a list of titles from their site; https://www.insidescanlation.com/spotlight/project-omanga.html Not all of them explicit horror but they might be of interest.

If you're into gore Franken Fran should give you a fix.(https://mangadex.org/title/623/franken-fran)
Jormungand is also a good one although the manga stopped getting scanlated before the end.

I'd say check out Inspector Kurokochi by Takashi Nagasaki, or Shibito no Koe wo Kiku ga Yoi by Uguisu Sachiko

Matters relating to survival like what you've mentioned :
If it's not too much, maybe I would recommend Battle Royale
The concept is very interesting but too mature (adult), surpassing Gantz. Brutal and really can describe an effort to survive but unfortunately not everyone's reading.

7 Seeds, it's shoujo but quite intense.
Jisatsutou, full of desperate people, drama and well-described how to survive in deserted island.
Dragon Head, I'm sure not many know about this. But this is one of the best manga that portrays a great disaster very well, full of madness, submission, surrounded by fear and selfishness. There are also many crazy characters, and life lessons that can be taken.
Tengoku Daimakyou, it's still new but I really like the setting. Just like The Promised Neverland.

Sekai Oni: This series is just really weird and surreal. The main character has Alice in Wonderland syndrome. For a grim horror psychological manga, it feels optimistic (sort of in the same way that Attack on Titan is dark but still hopeful), even if it gets rather dark at times. Unlike the other characters, the main character is unique in that she wants her family members to die.

Good Night World: From the same mangaka as Sekai Oni. A VR gaming manga with a very broken family that accidentally find each other in the game world and end up being on very good terms with each other, unaware of each other's identities in real life.

Not Lives: Another survival game series.

Darwin's Game: Yet another survival game series. The scanlators for this series love their puns.

Ajin: Some people in the world are Ajin: they're immortal and cannot die... And these Ajin are ruthlessly persecuted and abused and experimented on. Also, Satou is like the most badass OP villain ever. Watch out for him.

Immortal Hounds: This is like the opposite of Ajin. In a world where humans are immortal and they resurrect immediately when they die (to the point where people shoot themselves in the head on a regular basis, e.g. when they get a cold, because that restores them back to normal), some people called Vectors carry the deadly "Resurrection Deficiency Syndrome" disease, which prevents people from resurrecting, causing people to die for real when they die.

@ununseti
Great recommendation.
I haven't read Immortal Hounds. Is it really good?

Also, Sekai Oni has unique concept. So weird that I haven't finished reading it.

@goronyanpai In my opinion at least, Immortal Hounds is pretty good. Scanlations haven't updated for months though, and I'm really dying to know what happens next! There's a sense of shady happenings behind the scenes, and I've gotten rather attached to Kenzaki and Rin. There's action, violence, gore, mature themes (just look at the title of chapter 18...), and a decent amount of comedy as well.

I love Sekai Oni BECAUSE it's so weird! :D
