@Midoriha attention-whoring on the internet might work for 10 years or so until she becomes middle-aged and people stop paying attention to her and she'll end up with a hole she can't fill, appealing to one's vanity isn't really a long-term solution towards building self-esteem.

Kinda the same thing for attractive girls who spends their 20s and 30s to play around and ends up miserable later in life once they've aged out of their looks and aren't getting the same attention anymore (if they haven't settled down that is).
