Thanks for the chapter and your excellent work on this project!

Just a note: I believe the word for truth officers working with the nobles is “colluding”, not “colliding”.

@Soseki
Thanks for your hard work, but Ai-chan just wants to say that the word is not 'colliding', it's 'colluding'. Colluding means 'to work together', colliding means 'to crash against'.

So 'to collide with the nobles' means the opposite of what you wanted to say. It means 'to go out of your way to fight against the nobles'.

Soo little people for a town and if the town big enough i dont think setting up a take over is that hard especially since everyone suffers equally.

The town must be bunch of wussies or retarded.

(The reason take overs is hard is the backup coming from the capitals, and i dont think the capitals will help much if they see the condition there first hand)

It feels like Angela had a much wider range of emotions in the early chapters. Very snarky, occasionally flustered, and quick to tease. It seems now that they've established the harem she's been completely whitewashed as a character.

As I was reading this chapter even in raws I was so fucking annoyed that they didn't though of the very real possibility that a monster might attack. The soldiers patrolling the walls are there for that reason by tying them they are creating breaches on the wall securiity and monsters like harpies won't lose that opportunity to snatch some easy preys like children.

And that noble at the end out of fucking nowhere. There is no reason why the armed soldiers wil listen to him nor any plan to actually lift up the town when its already on the brink of collapse.

I am so glad this arc is over, I love takano itsuki art but he is not a good writter.

LOL the guy is right in front of them without any guard and defenseless... if this was even a little bit realistic they would have already turned into a mob and beaten him to death.

Jeeezus, those truth officers are utter psychopaths. Trying to wipe out the individuality of children and turn them into tools? No wonder their civilization is so effed up.

"I want to become the kind of truth officer who uses her title to do the right thing! Just like you, master!" So, uh... she's gonna kidnap children and cut off their family ties and brainwash them too? That kind of "right thing?"

I don't know if the author thinks a system with a single point of failure is a good thing, or if they just weren't even thinking about it at all. But the way they've set up the truth officers, it's gotta be one of the most easily corruptible systems of law enforcement imaginable. They've got no accountability, no way to independently verify, all they need is one person to agree with them, and they're not even allowed to use their powers on each other.
