@Wild Rabbit Cushion: I love it, when authors don't let their protagonists pull way overpowered bullsh*t moves or let them think way to complicated stuff up, but instead come up with an awesome, halfway believable way to handle a crisis. I most likely wouldn't have come up with that while in free fall. Then again I can't summon 99x Magical Bunny corpses from a transdimensonal timeprision.

(BTW: Overpowered moves are alright, if used in the right context. For example against a lunatic evil nobleman, or something.)

Finally a manga, where wounds aren't just beings slashed with big swords or axes or wind blades or earth cutter or ..... The part with the wing coming off was pretty incredible. The way it was drawn, the way it just slipped from the bone and the bone structure and the blood... It was so, so unexpected good.

@NaniTheFuck i think author makes a dragon in this series with a reference from skyrim, its a threat for a normal people, but not really a threat for a knight or soldier. And based on that lil girl fact that she can one shot a low rank dragon in one hit, then dragon is not that rare in this world.

@NaniTheFuck A lot of settings with dragons have kind of a wide range in power levels on them because they're such a long lived species. The peak of power comes from them living long enough to get there. This one was stronger than they expected, for instance, so it was probably an older specimen than they thought it would be from the scout's report. Alternatively, maybe there's multiple species of dragon and they vary in strength.

@undercurses Yeah, the dragons in that setting aren't all the super powerful kind but people faced a different challenge dealing with them. Keeping them dead permanently isn't as straight forward as just killing them once, so that's kind of a pain in the ass for the would be dragon slayer. Without a special skill nobody would even know they had until a dragon died right in front of them, you're possibly just making it a problem for somebody else.
