If your curious on their fates afterwards (Not their END FATES, well specifically for MC Ex that is) (HINT Though their not going to be messed with anymore, the only thing outside of Reito/MC control was his Ex being fired from her job)
WARNING THE SPOILERS EACH ARE LONG! Adding this just to give warning...though the asses who think their FUNNY with "TLDR" will still feel like they have to respond cause well...their assholes who have nothing better to do! But adding it here as a warning ahead of time! Only the First one below is the smallest!)
Ex marries the Arseface, her parents are not happy, they weren't too happy with her CHEATING on MC either, but a "silver lining" was they didn't like MC too much for being an Adventurer....more in the "he could possibly die and it would hurt their daughter!" Where Arse Face is an office worker, so in their minds even if he is of LOW CHARACTER for being her AP, he is in a safe position.....boy are they going to regret not pushing against their daughter's impulsive actions more!
He gets transfered to a DEAD END Guild, basically where the FUCK UPS get send for their careers to DIE! Even if Reito asked them to go easy, this was the best they were willing to do for the Arseface who humiliated them by "STEALING ZERO'S WOMAN AND GETTING HIM FIRED/BLACKLISTED!" When he gets there, and older employee is "kind enough" to tell him that being young, if he keeps his head down and does his work, he could get a transfer out, his future career won't be SUPER BRIGHT, but hey he can avoid a DEAD END and get high ENOUGH to what the future he lost is! HE quickly shows he never learned his lesson from the Reito incident! As I'll put on HIS spoilers
Trouble in paradise already starts and Ex gets her wake up call! Unable to find work, she becomes a house wife......but she's TERRIBLE at the job! Instead of helping or encouraging her to get better, he CHASTISES HER! The love is GONE largely cause she's a PLAGUE in his mind for "costing him his bright career" by being IGNORANT of her Ex and not warning him! Basically this is largely WHY I call him ARSEFACE! He has a HUGE "Never My Fault Bonner" refusing to take ANY responsibility for his own actions! Hell Ex was so use to being SPOILED with money, that he even gets mad at HER for spending ANY money as he views it all as HIS! Her doubling down on herself to make it work only means she gets a complex on "being a load"
Continuing from the above. Having a Complex, she IRONICALLY tries "Adventuring" to make money! But her first try ends in disaster for her! Turns out NON-License civilians can form groups and explore the starting area of a dungeon where the danger is manageable (Basically Kill weak Level 1 monsters) but as the Japanese guild is the way it is, this is NOT properly managed! Psychopaths love "joinging these groups" in order to steal the kills, and murder &/or RAPE their victims....and she sadly partners with said group, even the SOLE WOMAN takes PLEASURE in watching the men RAPE their female victims, especially as she said, if they look like Ex, who reminds her of the girls who BULLIED HER back in school! The plan was to murder her afterwards and make it look like monsters killed her! She escapes, but gets caught in a monster stampede and almost DIES, getting scared badly on her face!
She survives cause Reito had been called in the area in anticipation for that Stampede and he happened to find her before she bled out! Saving her, no hesitation, even with what she's done, in the end she is still a civilian in danger so he acts! And he never was malicious! He doesn't stay for her to wake up. But when she does. Arseface is there and instead of RESPECTING she just survived her horrible experience. He gets on her more for dumb shit, mocks her situation and her scar, reveals his cheating, and wants a divorce...and she has to take it, unable to response, but you can GUESS she is watching her world COLLAPSE right in front of her, and learning se made a HUGE MISTAKE ever associating with this man! Afterwards she is told by the doctor after Arseface leaves that it was Reito who saved her and that he had left her a potion to help heal that Scar fully for good measure! At this point she now FULLY REGRETS WHAT SHE'S DONE TO HIM and even remembers WHY they got together in the first place back in High School, back then she actually found Adventurer's AMAZING, but in time like with the Receptionist, she fell for the stupid propogandia that Adventurers were bad and forgot WHY she loved Reito, and then Arseface pursued her heavily and she gave him a chance DESPITE knowing it was cheating, and you know the rest.
She divorces him and returns to her parents with her head down in disgrace! To help her spirit, she decides to go into Adventurering fully, to see what Reito saw, and stop being a Tourist as she was even BACK THEN when they met where she liked the APPEAL OF THEM, but never truly got to KNOW Reito, it's why she EASILY assumed he was in a dead end POOR career! Because she never BOTHERED to get to know him, all while ACTING like she
She actually does well as an Adventurer and makes many friends, she and Reito do get involved later when at a reuinion with their old class, she comes to his defense when their old classmates, ignorant to the Reito's reputation and the fact he OWNS the Japanese Guild and helped save the Economy after the Anti Side crashed it in their ADVENTURER HATE only knowing he's "an Adventurer" and being the few ungrateful hold outs who look down on Adventuring (like they lived under a ROCK after what happens to Japan when the Anti Side Won, still suspiring there are ANY Anti-Adventurers left after this part of the story) look down on him acting JUST LIKE SHE DID IN CHAPTER 1 and assuming they were BETTER THEN HIM! So in a sense she REDEEMS herself! She also encourages his relationship that is growing with Karou at this point! So yeah she and the Receptionist kind of redeem themselves......can't say the SAME about Arseface though LOL
Basically what I hinted at in his entry, is he "cheats on her" with a Female Co-worker at his job. This is what I mean by him "not learning his lesson" but only PARTIALLY! As I said above, he does what she and he did to Reito in Chapter 1 where he wants a divorce, mocks her injuries, especially her SCAR ON HER FACE, saying it was the only reason he went for her! Even blames her SOLELY for getting DEAD ENDED and reveals his cheating
But that's not the end of it! Turns out the "Female Co-Worker!" Yeah she's a BITCH, turns out she gets her ROCKS OFF approaching married losers like himself who are full of themselves and tempts them to cheat on their spouses....then after she has her fun, usually when they DESERT their wives for her. She dumps their asses....and leaves thier fate to her Husband.....turns out her husband IS THE FUCKING GUILD MASTER OF THAT GUILD AKA HIS FUCKING BOSS!
The two do NOT get along and are only married cause her parent's connection to the guild is WHY he has this posting. He hates how she leaves HIM to solve "her problems" as he can't exactly LEAVE POS like Arseface to 'not suffer the consequences for putting their pen in company ink as well as CHEATING WITH SAID MAN'S WIFE!" As what Arseface did was slight him! It's funny that SAME SENIOR WORKER reminded Arseface he "TOLD HIM TO KEEP HIS HEAD DOWN" but now it's too late and his career is OVER! This is basically a REPEAT of what happened with Reito, him STEALING another man's woman, only the other man ISN'T as forgiving as Reito is, nor is this Reito's fault as he DID give the man a FIGHTING CHANCE, yet he blew it cause he felt "he deserved to have the best woman and steal them from another man" like a moronic fool! Hell he never learned his lesson in ACTUALLY FINDING OUT WHAT THOSE MEN WERE BEFORE ACTING like a moronic fool. It's worse by the fact unlike Reito's Ex who EAGERLY fell for him and did her cheating without remorse! This chick was crazy and LEAD HIM TO RUIN ON PURPOSE
Suffice to say, he gets fired, Ex divorces his ass, his family disowns him, and he's SUED by the Guildmaster! Falling into homelessness where he becomes a Drunk. He ends up in the background, largely crowds HATING adventurer's largely cause he blames the guild AND Reito for his fall from grace! Even throwing a bottle at one of Reito's disciples at some point in the story as a "later cameo" of sorts for him LOL
His last action is when Japan goes to SHIT because they succeed in banning adventuring and the guild, causing their economy to collapse. The Woman who tempted him, well her husband divorced her and she fell into ruination. She does get aid and looks like she wants to repent for her past bad behaviors, but Arseface sees her and it ends POORLY! All Ex sees in this incident is that Arseface attacked some POOR WOMAN as she never knew WHO he had cheated on her with and has MORE REGRETS on what she ever saw on him, with her teammates calming her that "that was her past bad self and she has changed to be better!" But at least she fully acknowledges she fucked up ROYALLY. That's it on him, I'm unaware if he is dead, or locked up in prison
