I know Jin-Yong is a bit of a social recluse, but there is a limit to my patience. If dude doesn't figure out soon that Sunwoo dislikes social pressure, not even Jason would be able to stop me when I beat some sense into him. I know this is a fictional story with fictional characters, but this is just me being invested in the story.

do teenagers actually act like this? i dont remember how it was back when i was teenager myself.
Self absorbed/ selfish people definitely do and they usually don’t change that much when they get older. I’ve unfortunately met quite a few people like this throughout my life, everything is always someone else’s fault to people like this since they lack proper introspection and critical thinking regarding their words and actions and how they affect people.

PLEASE JIN-YONG for the love of all that is holy AND for the sake of your relationship with sunwoo just say you don't believe it out loud. :notlikethis:

Also screw those "friends" of her, just because you're on good terms doesn't mean you're besties nor does it mean you can expect constant favors. Screw social pressure.

Most people have an inner voice, not everyone has a Jason. I think it's time for me to stop taking my meds and listen to what those voices are telling me. Therapists have always said communication is key. Hopefully they're like Zangetsu or Jason

I think it's such an important social skill to know where you stand with someone.

Back in high school, I was in a fairly big group and got along with everyone, but naturally there were people I was closer to than others. That difference matters more than people realise, and I think that’s exactly what Yewon is missing here.

She clearly gets along with Sunwoo, but she’s misreading that as a deeper closeness than what’s actually there. When you don’t understand that distance, you end up setting unrealistic expectations, and when those expectations aren’t met, you get upset over something the other person never agreed to in the first place.

Sunwoo's always been popular, so people project expectations onto her constantly. But her trying to meet all of them is impossible—you just end up stretching yourself thin and putting on different “masks” depending on who you’re with. I'm going to assume Jin-Yong will help her overcome it somehow. Give her a comfortable space where she can just be herself without worrying about what others want from her.

And I was gonna give Yewon some grace even though she was being pushy since I think she genuinely wants to make videos with Sunwoo. But she pissed me off when she said "If you bail on me here, I'll be seriously hurt, you know?" That's just textbook emotional blackmail whether she realises it or not. And at that point it stops being a request and starts feeling like an obligation.

And what's worse is that she immediately started badmouthing Sunwoo. Bitch you asked her for a favour, and despite refusing multiple times you kept asking. So she had to choice but to put her FOOT DOWN. But now Sunwoo is the bad guy for getting angry. The complete lack of self awareness and introspection is baffling. But it seems like Jin-Yong is gonna crash out on Yewon and rightfully so.
