And I was gonna give Yewon some grace even though she was being pushy since I think she genuinely wants to make videos with Sunwoo. But she pissed me off when she said "If you bail on me here, I'll be seriously hurt, you know?" That's just textbook emotional blackmail whether she realises it or not. And at that point it stops being a request and starts feeling like an obligation.

I wonder if it might be better in the original. If you phrased it as "I'd really like for you to do that" I don't think it'd be so bad and it's one of those things where a translation has the potential to mislead by being too literal.

But yeah, as it is here they're pretty awful.

I know Jin-Yong is a bit of a social recluse, but there is a limit to my patience. If dude doesn't figure out soon that Sunwoo dislikes social pressure, not even Jason would be able to stop me when I beat some sense into him. I know this is a fictional story with fictional characters, but this is just me being invested in the story.

Well, I'm not sure it will happen for drama's sake, but I think you mean harder.

She clearly already likes him. He's basically the only person she goes out of her way to interact with, and she was even faking being scared of ghosts to flirt with him.

I’d say it is indeed like that to some extent, but reinforced by East Asian gossip culture.

Also screw those "friends" of her, just because you're on good terms doesn't mean you're besties nor does it mean you can expect constant favors.
