I am honestly disappointed. At this point, why name the manga after the novel? They took the novel, mixed all kinds of scenes up and made it into some kind of cuckolding fantasy. I am really surprised how someone can manage to mess up a great romantic story in such a spectacular way. I recommend everyone to read the novel. It's under 100 chapters and a fast enjoyable read. Better than whatever this is.

Yes, but the manga is utter trash and doesn't follow the novel. Her childhood friend actually becomes quite a likeable guy and accepts their relationship in the novel.

It does, and its much slower and more detailed, in the emotional and psychological sense. I easily understand the rationale for the changes in pace and content, I just hope it doesn't stray too far from the source material or it'll lose a big factor that made the WN so surprisingly good.
