btw this doesnt have any drama at all, and it is a wholesome? and rather short story (novel had nearly 80 chapters, manga would be 40 chapter tops)
But how long is each LN/WN chapter, because the novel Nurturing the Hero to Avoid Death (NHAD for short) only has 45ish chapters but each one is so long it could easily take two to three manga chapters to cover a single WN chapter. So you’re easily looking at 80 to 90 manga chapters in length. Not that it would likely ever see a manga release since it has rather explicit sex scenes and I’ve yet to see hentai serialised.

I remember finding this trying to find another manga I lost awhile ago it's not old but still can't find it if anyone knows it lmk. It's basically guy who turns back and forth from ugly bastard from the ntr and his normal self iirc. It's also harem and his face changes when he is around the girls or something. Can't remember exactly as it was untranslated and I only read until the middle. He is in school as well. There is a doujinshi like this involving a witch but it's not that one.

This is a weird one. Anti-NTR MC seems wholesome but I worry where it will go. Tentatively added to Reading list, hope I won't regret it.

Vanilla enjoying MC gets isekai into an NTR guy's body but somehow rizzez up the girls he originally NTRs

Either MC in NTR guy's body radiates so much sigma male energy that the girls all want to get into his pants, or the girls just want to be NTR'ed

Shounen ai/Shoujo ai shouldn’t be political either but mangadex doesn’t have either of these tags.

So how come your up in arms about NTR but not Shounen ai/Shoujo ai. It’s not as if mangadex is for hentai where you would expect to find netorare.
That's because Mangadex does have girl's love and boy's love as tags... It made things simpler instead of having both shounen ai and yaoi. They're literally the same thing as shounen ai and shoujo ai. I'm up in arms about NTR because it's a good filtration tool to sort the garbage.

I can filter gay content already. I can just blacklist boy's love and girl's love. Can't filter this shitty NTR stuff tho cause of no tag.

But shounen ai and yoai are two completely different things!

Shoujo/Shounen ai is tag for romance between same sex couples. It normally has extremely limited sex scenes and more often than not, no sex scenes at all because it’s all about romance. For example Yuri Is My Job! Is shoujo ai.

Yuri/Yoai is just about sex between same sex couples, it’s going to be extremely light on any sort of romance as it purely designed to titillate the reader. For example Sensory Sharing Maid-san! Is Yuri.

Lobbing them both together under the hashtag boy/girl love is downright degenerate.

They literally mean the same thing.

Yaoi means boys loving boys.
Shounen ai means boys loving boys.

The extra qualifier your adding to it is Erotica or no erotica, and guess what... That's a separate tag.

Boys Love + Erotica = Yaoi.
Girls Love + Erotica = Yuri.

Girls Love on its own is shoujo ai.
Boys Love on its own is shounen ai.

You're getting butthurt over nothing. It's not the same as a tag straight up not existing for content you despise.

Alright so I’m a bit butthurt but you could also make the case for a number of tags missing from mangadex. Such as Ryona, Nakadashi, Paizuri & Oyakodon. Admittedly Oyakodon can probably be covered by incest but the mother and daughter could just be fucking different people at the same time.

Wait a damn second... This may actually turn out pretty good. Now I just need to try avoiding the novel so I wont get spoiled or disappointed.

I initially wanted a tag for NTR, but I'm glad I didn't. There are varying approaches into it, and not all NTR specifically aim to hurt readers but try to tell an interesting story. That's what I think is distinct about manga and anime. It's not all about being completely original; it's about finding a specific angle that is interesting enough and worth exploring, and of course, reading about.

If you want an example of an interesting NTR, I'd recommend
https://mangadex.org/title/5f11b455...ni-ntr-reta-node-senpai-no-kanojo-wo-ntr-masu

Then there's Chisa x Pon, which can be argued as NTR, and it will hurt for a lot of chapters, but it uses the concept to tell a story of coping, acceptance, and recovery for both the guy and girl.

There's also a pornhwa called The Savory Girl. It's not very interesting but there's some satisfaction to be had since
the girl cheats but regrets it later.

Warning about The Savory Girl though, not about the NTR. The very last chapter, the author tries to troll you. Don't fall for it.
