High tier trolling right here, using a story with yuri in the title as your example of a series that isn't Yuri. But shounen ai and yoai are two completely different things!
Shoujo/Shounen ai is tag for romance between same sex couples. It normally has extremely limited sex scenes and more often than not, no sex scenes at all because it’s all about romance. For example Yuri Is My Job! Is shoujo ai.
Yuri/Yoai is just about sex between same sex couples, it’s going to be extremely light on any sort of romance as it purely designed to titillate the reader. For example Sensory Sharing Maid-san! Is Yuri.
Lobbing them both together under the hashtag boy/girl love is downright degenerate.

Fuck that argument. I don't want to be tricked into reading a story that has it.I initially wanted a tag for NTR, but I'm glad I didn't. There are varying approaches into it, and not all NTR specifically aim to hurt readers but try to tell an interesting story. That's what I think is distinct about manga and anime. It's not all about being completely original; it's about finding a specific angle that is interesting enough and worth exploring, and of course, reading about.
If you want an example of an interesting NTR, I'd recommend
https://mangadex.org/title/5f11b455...ni-ntr-reta-node-senpai-no-kanojo-wo-ntr-masu
Then there's Chisa x Pon, which can be argued as NTR, and it will hurt for a lot of chapters, but it uses the concept to tell a story of coping, acceptance, and recovery for both the guy and girl.
There's also a pornhwa called The Savory Girl. It's not very interesting but there's some satisfaction to be had since
the girl cheats but regrets it later.
Warning about The Savory Girl though, not about the NTR. The very last chapter, the author tries to troll you. Don't fall for it.
Actually, now that I've read more about NTR and what it really stands for, this story isn't really NTR. NTR is almost specifically designed to hurt the reader. The manga I mentioned couldn't be further from that. If anything, what it builds is slow anticipation for a possible genuine romance.Fuck that argument. I don't want to be tricked into reading a story that has it.
Authors should tag the shit properly so I can properly ignore it.
I literally don't care if there's a "good" story under it. NTR fans always say that same line. There's like... tons of stuff to read out there. Tags help people not waste their time.
Did you know? There's good YAOI out there? Like with good action and a good plot. Do you care? No! Cause the Yaoi's a dealbreaker right? Same deal.
I'm glad you have a tolerance for NTR.Actually, now that I've read more about NTR and what it really stands for, this story isn't really NTR. NTR is almost specifically designed to hurt the reader. And about your Yaoi and even Yuri argument, I don't read those either. But after thinking about why and what its difference is with NTR, I guess it's because I'm personally in it to find someone relatable. Even if it's a good BL/GL story, I probably won't enjoy it because I'm in it for the romance aspect, and I won't find myself anywhere there. But in straight NTRs, even if it might hurt, if the story is interesting enough, I give it a chance.
You may actually be more tolerant than me since I have NEVER read BL or GL. And no worries, we are definitely not the same, and that's not a bad thing at all. I actually remember when I first started out reading manga wanting to read the rest of some animes I liked. And then I found REC and it totally ruined the story and the rest of my day. So I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND your strong aversion for NTR because I once was like that.I'm glad you have a tolerance for NTR.
I just don't follow your argument. I hate it. I want a tag available so I can avoid it. I don't like the argument that you're making. You're saying, you don't mind the tag not existing because some NTR manga are actually "good," and you would have been like me and avoided them. We are not the same. I don't care if they're good or wtv. Some Yaoi are good. I do not read them.
I can't avoid this shit as things stand right now.
Which chapter does the NTR begin in Chisa x Pon?You may actually be more tolerant than me since I have NEVER read BL or GL. For me, I guess maybe I just got desensitized now because it came to a point that I got bored and no new chapters were arriving for the stories I followed. So in my boredom, I started reading some NTR that were being recommended in reddit that had good stories. No surprise, they were still very uncomfortable reads, but nowadays, I don't feel too bad about them anymore.
What I DO hate with a passion even until now, so much MUCH more than NTR stories, are stories with characters that suddenly become inconsistent with how they were portrayed, even suddenly becoming really REALLY stupid just for the sake of lengthening a story or forcing a development the author wants. These are actually deal breakers for me and I tend to drop it on the spot.
Given your hate for NTR, even if I recommended Chisa x Pon, you might want to stay away from it if ever you want to test the NTR waters in the far far future. It really does have a good story that specifically uses despair and the falling out in a relationship to show that all hope is not lost, that communication, understanding, and patience is key not only to prevent problems but to actually repair what has been torn down. The problem is that it really will be a painful read for a lot of chapters before everything turns around.
You'll feel it coming. You'll feel it coming.Which chapter does the NTR begin in Chisa x Pon?
There is a complete translation of the webnovel on novelupdate. Its still using the old title which is
"The Story of a Man Who Is Reincarnated as the Shi*tiest Guy in a Doujin, but the Heroine Keeps on Coming Close to Him"
The author made an extra chapter that was untranslated to announce the name change to match with the new manga serialization name.
Btw its not really a netorare series, its a netori series. And its a really good romance series despite the title I found on the Thai website that it has reached chapter 3.3
I have read all available chapters on mangadex (28 out of 49) and theirs no netorare in those 28 chapters, there is rape and rape can lead to netorare but it doesn’t go down that sort of dark twisted path. You'll feel it coming. You'll feel it coming.
I have read all available chapters on mangadex (28 out of 49) and theirs no netorare in those 28 chapters, there is rape and rape can lead to netorare but it doesn’t go down that sort of dark twisted path.
Since netorare is the feeling of betrayal, three thing have to occur from the perspective of person A. Persons A&B have to be a couple, person B then must voluntarily seek out and sleep with person C and then person A needs to find out about persons B&C. Because netorare is about the betrayal of person B to person A. The only way rape can be be considered netorare is if person B conceal is it from Person A and person A only finds out about the rape from Person C.
So when Chisa gets raped and because ponta immediately saw the aftermath. He immediately knew it wasn’t consensual (thus not netorare) and was very insistent Chisa seek help to deal with her trauma.
All said the Nanaka arc does come very close to netorare so if that was what you meant then I understand.
Faire enough. As I said last, the Nanaka arc is close enough to netorare to warrant a tag.For me, though legally and technically, it may not be rape, the feeling itself of betrayal is very real for Ponta. Even if he knew it wasn't consensual, after their first confrontation since the crime, Chisa said, "I was the one to ask him out, though I wasn't planning to sleep with him. Takigawa was really skilled. It felt great," and then Chisa distanced herself from Ponta. And we as the reader knew that these things were in fact true, never mind the fact that after she had been warned time and time again about Takigawa, she still met with him in secret. I state that last part of the sentence not to victim blame but to consider what Ponta would naturally think about and feel when Chisa said that last sentence and then runs away. That moment was where the feeling of betrayal permeated me. It's a good thing though that Ponta had good support to see the events more clearly to be able to do the right things for Chisa later on.
I'm actually frustrated why the English scanlating for this series is so slow considering the Russian translation is already done. I hope someone would pick it up. Another series I'm fervently waiting for to move forward in scanlation is Asuperu Kanojo.Faire enough. As I said last, the Nanaka arc is close enough to netorare to warrant a tag.
Especially when Ponta leaves Chisa to go ‘save’ Nanaka in chapter 28, Ponta is doing the right thing and I’m sure Chisa will be thankful later but you can see the anguish in her face as you see him leave!
That's possible to be caught off-guard like that if you are used to and expected to walk on flat surface.Alright, is no one going to talk about how he just tripped from a small crumb of paper?
It's not NTR at all though. Read the novel, it's a surprisingly wholesome harem/romance adult story. But yeah, absolutely zero NTR.Don't care about the uncensored version just turn out to be a good ntr
If it was on nHentai it would have the netorare tag but it’s not netorare but netore. That’s like the opposite of netorare where the main protagonist steals the girlfriend from another man..... I am so confused whether this is an NTR or not.
Post nut clarity of a ntr manga character if he’s good.
