I dunno what the manga is doing but yes, this author is kind of known for starting with a omnious-sounding concept and then subverting our expectations. He also wrote a story about a guy reincarnating as the NTR-ing best friend, someone with a Hypnosis App or even as the UB. In all those stories, the MC's original personality fuses with the personality of the NTR guy and they become like a completely new person. The girl isn't getting stolen by them but actually falls for them for real.

As for Ch6 of the manga, I don't recall this kind of plotline in the web novel and the childhood friend had actually decent character development. Ch6 makes him look like a damn rapist, lol. I hope they won't butcher him too much.

It's because it's published by Square Enix and Gangan (Though it's the case for most manga apps), but the volume releases won't be censored... surely.

For those who have been complaining. The first manga volume is out and I can confirm that it is uncensored in the actual volumes. So, if you want to see the goods, you'll have to buy the manga volume. Kind of like OnlyFans...
