Reading this chapter made realize AGAIN how much of an ideal 'no experience, fresh employee' Aoba was. She meshes well with the rest of the team and even others outside it, had average skills but willing to learn and learn pretty fast, really diligent and pretty earnest in her attitude. She has her own idiosyncrasies but she's overall an ideal fresh employee. I wouldn't mind having more of her kind i
Compared to Momiji and Narumi..... I mean, even Nene is at least very earnest, even if her playfulness gets in the way sometimes. Yeah, Tokuno Shotaro really made a good job of making Momiji and Narumi a good contrast to how Aoba and Nene was.
Anyway, I bet if it was Kou whom Hajime said to give her workload off to, Momiji would relent easily. Aoba, while being the senior, is just 1 year seniority difference, and she was a fresh highschool employee compared to Momiji who is an arts college grad. I guess it's a bit harder to swallow if you've a big (unwarranted) pride, although the bigger picture is that the game would be in BIG trouble if she doesn't finish her workload. The severity of the situation is a bigger than the Aoba/Kou one.
Then again, I guess this is another series of chapters where Momiji gets some character evolution, so it's kinda inevitable. Either she grows up, or she fucks things up. Characterization marches on.
