I know it's probably because it was convenient for the plot, but that bear's behavior was still really weird. No reason for it to follow them inside the facility. If it was looking for food, there were fresh corpses right there to snack on.

I mean, if you really want copium, it could be that what we're seeing right now happened hours before the cliffhanger in 63. However I rather hope for the worst and hopefully be wrong.

That's true and I was afraid we were set to have a distraction with the two together and some harem bs, but tbf, they ended up finding their first stop right away. And now, they found someone they know that can tell them what happened in the facility and where is the girl.

No need to worry too much, this author will simply use any situation to show some fanservice. And if SA even registers on their radar, it's just meant to be cheap engagement with the scare, not a serious developpment. At worse, it will stay at an attempt, and it's only there for the dude to swoop in and save her 🙄
